Shivani Wells, BA, E-RYT 500
A certified Yoga Therapist since 2008, Shivani offers a holistic, client-centred approach that integrates gentle yoga, embodied mindfulness, neuroscience, breath work, and humanistic psychology. She helps individuals with trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, and head injury learn how to regulate their nervous systems, get present in their bodies, shift out of negative thought patterns, and work with (rather than fight against) their present moment experiences. Shivani developed the Mindful Brain Yoga intervention for post-concussive syndrome, and is currently conducting research the UBC Neuropsychiatry department. As an educator, Shivani is the Course Director for Canada with the Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy (PRYT) school based in Vermont, and is on guest faculty with the Vancouver School of Yoga and the YYoga teacher training programs.
